Office Assistant

HireQuest Direct of Minot is seeking an Office Assistant. In this role, you will be an integral part of our daily operations. You will support various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our office, contribute to a positive work environment, and play a vital role in helping our team achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and colleagues with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence, routing messages to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, coordinating calendars and resources.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible.
  • Assist with data entry and record keeping, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, restocking as necessary to maintain an organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient office operations and a positive work atmosphere.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college courses or certifications are a plus.
  • Previous experience in an office support role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
