Tint Color Tech

HireQuest Direct in Cambridge, MN is looking for a Tint Color Tech for a company in Ramsey, MN. The position is in the Optical Industry.

$19.35/hr.

**Hours & Days**
3rd Shift - 10pm-6:30am (Monday-Friday)

This is a temp-to-hire position and is full time. In this position you will mix tints to dye lens to match color prescribed by the doctor. If you have the skills and meet the requirements below please **APPLY NOW**

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses
• Able to read and write English language well
• Able to memorize large amounts of data accurately
• Computer skills (Windows, MS Office)
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to work overtime, Saturdays & Sundays and some holidays when needed
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms and regularly required to walk, stoop, kneel, crawl and/or crouch
• Must be able to use hands to grasp and manipulate
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Must have close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities:

• Take lens out of tray and clean with alcohol or soap as required
  
• Use clamps to put lenses in various color dyes to achieve desired results
• Prepare dyes and tint tanks
• Reject bad lenses
• Assist Back Side Coat Operator
• Take inventory of tint supplies
