Material Set-up Technician

HireQuest Direct is looking for a Material Set-up Technician in Mora, MN. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
  
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Must have basic computer skills and be proficient working with Word and Excel
• Forklift experience required
• Able to identify different material and non-conforming parts
• Able to work overtime hours as needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance
• Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally 
• Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop daily
• Grip and hold parts and hand tools for up to 8 hours
• Good hand and wrist dexterity

Responsibilities:

• Pull work instructions from appropriate file for productions jobs
• Work with Material Handlers to order materials and components needed for production runs
• Set up weigh blenders and material dryers to correct customer product specifications for drying purposes
• Pull molds from racks and stages at presses if needed
• Assist with cleaning and spraying of molds with protectant when needed
• Purge material when needed
• Drain and clean both hoppers and grinders
• Drain water from molds and remove waterlines
