Porter

OVERVIEW

Property Management company is seeking a Porter for their luxury apartment community in Cherry Hill, NJ. Must be able to pass drug screening and county criminal background search prior to start.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain apartment buildings, including weekly vacuuming and floor cleaning in hallways and lobby
• Clean offices, if applicable 
• Empty trash daily, vacuum carpets weekly, clean bathroom and kitchen weekly.
• Patrol property daily.
• Clean up any trash/litter on grounds and common areas.
• Keep dumpster area clean. 
• Vacuum/sweep/mop halls and common areas daily.
• Assist maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• ·Requires skill and knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma
• One to two years apartment maintenance or janitorial experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations preferred.
• Physical Mobility: Sufficient to move about property, climb stairs, lift appliances or tools, stretch, bend and climb stairs.
• Manual Dexterity: Sufficient to use tools and make general repairs
