SUMMARY

It is the job of the Maintenance Mechanic to perform routinepreventative maintenance on equipment and structures, troubleshoot, support andrepair production equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the VPOperations in regard to maintenance functions.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain plant equipment and facilities
Maintain daily boiler operation
Maintain lots and sidewalks in the event ofinclement weather
Perform other plant functions at the directionof the VP Operations
Receiving / loading of bulk containers(including tank trucks and shipping containers)
Serve as a Member of the Emergency Response Team
Perform maintenance on pumps, piping, and mixersas needed
Perform monthly preventative maintenance onplant equipment including batch kettles and forklifts

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years’ previous work experience in industrial maintenance
Preventative Maintenance experience
Basic electricity and motor control knowledge with troubleshooting and installation experience (480v)
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge with installation and repair experience
Welding experience preferred
Hazmat awareness or training
Boiler operation experience with Philadelphia licensing preferred or willingness to obtain
