Technician

Job Summary

 Technicians assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of industrial equipment and automation systems. This role supports engineers and project leads during automation installations and equipment upgrade projects by performing hands‑on mechanical work and ensuring installations are completed safely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and setup of conveyors, robotics systems, and related machinery
• Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment and components
• Install brackets, mounts, and mechanical parts according to project requirements
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation and setup tasks
• Work closely with engineers and project leads to execute installation plans
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues that arise during installation
• Ensure equipment is properly secured and installed per specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, jobsite rules, and project guidelines

Requirements

• Mechanical or technical experience preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions, drawings, or installation diagrams
• Ability to lift equipment and work in an active installation environment
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Dependable, motivated, and able to follow direction

• May involve standing, lifting, bending, and working around machinery
