General Laborer – Construction Sites (Must Have Transportation)

We are hiring reliable General Laborers for ongoing construction projects in Calabash, Shallotte, and the surrounding areas.

 Because job sites vary daily, you must have your own transportation and be able to get to each assigned location on time.

Position: General Laborer

Location: Various job sites in Calabash, NC – Shallotte, NC – Surrounding Areas

 Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (some weekends as needed)

 Pay:$14 to start $16 when hired on full time, paid daily

 Start Date: ASAP

Job Duties

General Laborers will support construction crews with:

• Site cleanup and debris removal
• Loading and unloading materials
• Assisting carpenters, concrete crews, and other trades
• Carrying tools, setting up equipment, and preparing work areas
• Basic use of hand tools
• Following all safety rules and wearing proper PPE
• Performing other general labor tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation (jobs rotate between Calabash, Shallotte, and nearby areas)
• Ability to arrive to different sites daily
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and stand for long periods
• Must follow safety instructions and work well with a team
• No experience required, but construction labor experience is a plus
• Must be dependable and ready to work every day

Preferred but Not Required

• Prior general labor or construction experience
• Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools
• OSHA‑10 certification (we can assist you in getting this)
