Description: 

HireQuest is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic/Technician to join our team with a focus on heavy equipment and electronics. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in performing a variety of mechanical tasks, particularly in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, with a specialization in electronics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic work environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform a wide range of mechanical tasks, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems with heavy equipment. 
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure functionality and safety. 
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. 
• Assist with the installation and calibration of electronic equipment. 
• Work with a team to ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy equipment and electronics. 
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. 
• Ability to work in various environments and under various conditions.
