Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, such as wiring, switches, relays, and control panels.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment safety and reliability.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance work.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
  • Provide input on equipment upgrades and improvements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic with electrical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Certification in heavy equipment repair or electrical systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
