CNC Machinist – Design Focus 

Location: Minot, ND 

Pay: $18-25/hour

Position Type: Full Time 

Experience: Experience with CNC equipment and design preferred 

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a creative and skilled CNC Machinist with a focus on design. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate and design using CNC equipment to produce unique and high-quality products, such as signs, statues, and other custom creations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate CNC machinery to create intricate designs and products 
• Design and manufacture custom items, including signs, statues, and other decorative pieces 
• Collaborate with clients and team members to bring creative visions to life 
• Troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance 
• Ensure high-quality standards in both design and finished products 
• Work with various materials including wood, metal, and plastics 
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models for precise production 
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience with CNC machining and design (CAD software experience a plus) 
• Strong creative ability and design skills 
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation 
• Ability to work with various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic 
• Strong attention to detail and quality control 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Good problem-solving skills and adaptability
