Monday - Friday 7am-3pm

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Degree or certificate in Tool/Die making
• 1+ years experience in toolmaking or machinist role or other related position
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work standards
• Strong measurement skills and good understanding of geometry and trigonometry
• Ability to interpret advanced blueprints and understand tolerances
• Able to work overtime hours according to business needs
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
• Safely operate hoist, overhead cranes, and forklift
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to lift 75 lbs. to shoulder height on an on-going basis (with/without assistance)
• Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis
• Grip and hold tools
• Must be able to handle extremely heavy items with assistance/equipment
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time

Responsibilities: 

• Complete tool PMs, new tool integration and tool repairs on schedule and to company and customer process and procedures
  
• Evaluate each job and determine if it can be repaired in press or must be removed to Tool Room for essential maintenance and repair work
• Transfer molds throughout facility as required
• Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance on molds with assistance
• Machine and grind to repair and modify molds
• File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts to properly fit them together
• Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools
• Measure, mark, and scribe metal or plastic stock to lay out machining, using instruments such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, and rulers
• Select metals to be used from a range of metals and alloys, based on properties such as hardness and heat tolerance
• Prepare molds for shipping
• Manage tooling inventory
