CNC Programmer

HireQuest Direct is looking for a CNC Programmer in Braham, MN. In this position you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC programs including program generation, release, revision, distribution and storage. You will also provide input into product design, manufacturing details, quality requirements definition and issue resolution.

1st shift | Monday - Friday | 7am - 3:30pm | $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Qualifications:

• Strong CNC machining experience with a variety of CNC equipment including multi-axis lathes with sub-spindle and live tooling, multi-axis mills both vertical and horizontal
• CNC programming experience including CAM
• CAD / Modeling (Solid Works) experience is a plus
• Strong tooling knowledge (geometry, speeds/feeds) for varied materials and machining processes
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong communicator

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develops programs for CNC lathes and mills
  
• Develops set-up documentation
• Participates in process improvement activities such as reviewing current set-up processes, run-time processes and tooling for potential changes, updates and improvements in quality and efficiency
• Working with tooling and machine vendors to research new tooling, equipment and process options
• Works collaboratively with Engineering and Quality Departments by answering questions and providing input into new product design. Provides input into manufacturing detail development ensuring accurate manufacturing process documentation. Supports Quality Specialist with issue resolution, corrective actions and requirements definition
• Additional tasks as assigned
