HireQuest in Cambridge is looking for an experienced Material Handler in Pine City, MN. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for getting raw materials to departments for production needs and handling warehousing of raw and finished products.
Monday - Friday | 7am - 3:30pm OR 8am - 4:30pm
$17.50/hr.

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience in a production warehouse setting
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to become certified upon hire
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Frequent walking, pulling, twisting, bending, reaching, crouching, and lifting
- Must be able to drive a forklift and operate hand trucks and other material moving equipment
- Able to use both hands to grip, pull, push, twist, and manipulate components
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational skills and practical work experience utilizing a Kanban system for effective inventory management
- Ability of communication professionally with department supervisors and other employees
- Must have good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Must be able to stay focused and on task and accuracy of work is required
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all production departments to get correct raw materials delivered in a timely manner in order to assure production schedule is followed
- Utilize Kanban system and other organizational systems per company requirements
- Load/unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks
- Store warehouse materials, using safe material handling methods for forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, etc.
- Read work orders and follow oral and written instructions to determine specified material and equipment to be moved and its relocation
- Assist in maintaining proper inventory by accurately storing materials
- Attach identifying tags or marks information on containers and product, parts as needed
- Properly record materials that are delivered and stored per company policies and procedures
- Record required production information correctly and completely: in-process inspections, ICARs, general work order forms, etc.
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Perform other work duties as required
