Assembly/Packer

HireQuest Direct is looking for an Assembly/Packer in Buffalo, MN. Your shipping responsibilities include filling material demands of internal and external customers and will accurately perform tasks assigned for material movement. Follow FIFO practices along with ISO compliance.

1st shift - $15.00 - $17.00/hr. to start

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to stand/work for the entirety of your shift (8-10 hrs.)
• Problem-solve issues as required; as for assistance when needed
• Follow all safety regulations
• Must maintain a clean and safe 5S work environment
• Must be able to perform physical labor including lift, push/pull, carry up to 50 lbs.
• Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speaking
• Must have good attendance
• Knowledge of basic handheld power tools

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to assembly
• Keep all materials and products neat and organized
• Perform visual inspection of parts for obvious defects and complete quality check sheets as required
• Problem solve discrepancies
• Set up and use weight scale
• Packing parts - either on skids or in boxes
• Read and follow work order directions
