Final Inspection

Cambridge, MN HireQuest Direct is looking for Final Inspection in Ramsey, MN. In this position you will inspect final product for optics and any visible irregularities in the Optical industry.

3rd Shift - $19.35/hr.

Monday - Friday 10pm-6:30am

Requirements/Responsibilities: 

• Read RX and verify posers, thickness, lens style, etc. 
• Spot and mark lenses and place in appropriate position on job tray 
• Discard old lenses when warranty is used 
• Cross-train in other positions and help in other areas of the department as needed 
• Perform post final inspection as needed 
• Assist in breakage entry and re-dos 
• Clear tray of sample lenses or notes before sending for wash up
  
• High School Diploma/GED 
• Must understand optics and be able to read RX 
• Finish lab experience is required 
• Must have a working knowledge of optical lab production processes 
• Ability to read prescriptions 
• Math skills 
• Able and willing to work as a team 
• Able to read and write English well 
• Good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience 
• Work without supervision 
• Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed 
• Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear 
• Frequently required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel 
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl 
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds 
• Close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
