Concrete Laborer

Job Description:

As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a vital role in the construction process by assisting with the pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete. You will work alongside experienced concrete professionals to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and preparation of concrete forms and molds
• Mix and pour concrete using appropriate tools and equipment
• Level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces using trowels, screeds, and other hand tools
• Place and secure rebar or mesh reinforcement as needed
• Operate power tools such as concrete saws, grinders, and drills
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in concrete construction or related field preferred
• Knowledge of concrete pouring techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
