Are you a seasoned leader in the construction equipment industry with a passion for exceptional service and operational excellence? We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to oversee and elevate our service department. In this role, you will manage daily operations, lead a skilled team, and drive customer satisfaction while ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Daily Operations Management: Plan, manage, and direct all day-to-day activities of the service department, ensuring high employee morale and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership by delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and offering timely feedback. Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance service quality.
  • Customer Engagement: Initiate and maintain contact with customers regarding service work, including repair status, warranty records, and service history, to build and sustain strong relationships.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to improve departmental processes, increase efficiencies, and maximize profitability. Review and approve work orders and quotes for accuracy.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with senior leadership to create, maintain, and analyze the department’s budget, focusing on cost control and profitability.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures, providing ongoing training to employees.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and share relevant information with the team to drive continuous improvement.




Qualifications:


  • Experience: 3-5 years of service management experience, preferably in the construction equipment sector.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanics and the ability to operate machinery and tools.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in budget creation and management, with a focus on cost control and profitability.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying and executing solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism: High degree of professionalism with a commitment to confidentiality, ethical behavior, and company values.
