Description: 

HireQuest is actively seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in performing a variety of mechanical tasks, specifically with diesel engines and equipment. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to work in a dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on diesel engines and related equipment. 
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues. 
• Replace and repair engine components such as filters, belts, and pumps. 
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently. 
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. 
• Work with a team to ensure the safety and reliability of equipment. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of diesel engines. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
