The Custodian/Groundskeeper is responsible for performing grounds keeping, landscaping and custodial duties and performs routine and emergency cleanup
Responsibilities:
- Cuts grass, trims shrubbery, plants and waters flowers, bushes, and grass
- Shovels snow, spreads salt and completes other duties to ensure a safe, clean and clutter-free environment
- Cleans all areas, indoors and outdoors, as needed
- Empties trash containers
- Ensures that all areas are clean, clutter- and debris-free
- Complete slight maintenance and custodial duties as assigned
- Strips, cleans and waxes floors, moves furniture, equipment etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30lbs repeatedly
- Able to take direction and stay on task
- Dependability
