Harvesting

HireQuest Direct of Minot is seeking a Harvesting crew for this upcoming season. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to harvest crops such as fruits, vegetables, or other agricultural products.
• Follow harvesting protocols to ensure crops are harvested at their peak ripeness and quality.
• Operate harvesting equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Hand-pick or use machinery to gather crops, ensuring minimal damage.
• Sort and pack harvested crops into containers, crates, or bins for transportation.
• Inspect crops for defects, pests, or diseases and remove any substandard produce.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines for sustainable and responsible farming practices.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of harvesting equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in agricultural work or harvesting is preferred.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain harvesting equipment safely.
• Knowledge of crop varieties, ripeness indicators, and harvesting techniques is a plus.
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing tasks and schedules.
