Data Center/Mining Technician

HireQuest is seeking candidates for Data Center/Mining Technician positions in a Grand Forks data center. In this role you would be responsible for monitoring the data center equipment performance and performing preventative maintenance checks in the data center. This position will register repair tickets and update the status as maintenance is performed.

Shifts Available:

7 am to 7 pm

7 pm to 7 am

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• High attention to detail, basic troubleshooting procedures, and basic computer knowledge required
• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a data center environment. This role routinely uses standard data center equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, voltmeters, hash board testers, scissor lifts, forklifts, ladders, and screwdrivers etc. While performing these duties the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.

Physical Demands

Able to meet physical requirements of the job, such as working on ladders, racking heavy servers (up to 50 lbs), running cables, lifting miners, bending, reaching, standing for long periods of time, working in hot and cold environments etc.
