Description:
HireQuest is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Custodian to join our team. This position involves the cleaning and maintenance of various areas within the facility, including the administrative area, repair area, exterior grounds, and production area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with cleaning materials and tools, including ladders, and be physically capable of performing the required tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain administrative areas, repair areas, production areas, and exterior grounds.
- Utilize cleaning materials and tools, including ladders, to complete daily tasks.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, including paper products and other essential materials.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and general upkeep of facility areas.
- Ensure the facility is kept organized, clean, and safe.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
- Ability to lift items weighing over 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must provide own transportation.
- Ability to work in extreme weather environments.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- No experience with heavy equipment operation required.
