Position Overview:
As an Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in the successful execution of various projects by operating heavy machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-operational checks, ensuring equipment maintenance, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy machinery. Key responsibilities include:
Operate and maintain equipment: Safely operate a range of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and forklifts, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Site preparation: Execute tasks related to site preparation, including grading, excavation, and leveling, to meet project specifications.
Material handling: Efficiently handle and transport materials using designated equipment, following established safety protocols.
Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, and promote a culture of safety among team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
Safety focus: A commitment to safety protocols and a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
Physical fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
