Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High school diploma/GED
• Familiar with the most commonly used MIG welding components, techniques and material

• Read and understand blueprints and setup folders prior to starting a project
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and amps/feeds for different jobs
• Prepare both metal and work surfaces for the production process
• Weld materials using the correct wire and wire size
• Inspect finished work, at required frequencies, to make sure that it falls within the tolerances and/or criteria set forth
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, twist and grip
