HireQuest Direct is looking for an Imaging Operator in Shakopee, MN. This is a position with a company that does commercial printing. 

**Days & Hours**
1st Shift - Sunday-Wednesday 7am-7pm or Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-7am
3rd Shift - Sunday-Wednesday 7am-7pm or Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-7am

1st Shift pay rate starts at $17.50/hr. with the possibility of progression within 6 months.
3rd Shift pay rate starts at $17.50/hr. with the possibility of progression within 6 months.

As an Imaging Operator you will possess and demonstrate the skills and abilities to effectively operate and maintain all monochrome digital print equipment. You will also need to effectively operate and maintain all digital color print equipment. See the requirements and responsibilities below.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work the 12 hour shift
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions, as well as read, understand and carry out written instructions
• Must have excellent knowledge of digital print and/or ink jet equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment
• Must have knowledge of color theory and able to make adjustments and color corrections when needed to meet customer specifications
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities:

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment
• Program and prepare jobs for printing
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue
• Able to setup, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems
• Good knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print
• Good knowledge and ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing
• Other tasks within the scope of an Imaging Operator
