Carpenter
Pay: 20-24
Location: Tampa Bay Area
Schedule: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and/or residential construction, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and take pride in producing quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general carpentry work.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately.
Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other finish components.
Construct, repair, and maintain structures made of wood, metal, and other materials.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with supervisors and other trades on job sites.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience preferred.
Ability to read tape measures and construction plans.
Knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Ability to pass any required pre-employment screenings.
Requirements
Applicants must provide and maintain their own hand tools and basic carpentry tools.
Must have appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, etc.).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
