Job Description
OSHA 30 Certified Safety Worker
We are looking for an experienced, safety-focused worker to support operations at a busy warehouse in the Rockville/Short Pump area of Virginia. This position will help maintain a safe work environment, monitor employees and job activities, and ensure safety procedures are followed throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor warehouse operations to ensure employees are following safety procedures.
* Conduct regular safety observations and identify potential hazards.
* Help enforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
* Communicate safety concerns and corrective actions to employees and supervisors.
* Assist with daily safety inspections and documentation.
* Help ensure the worksite remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
* Report incidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and other safety concerns promptly.
* Reinforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
* Work closely with warehouse management to promote a strong safety culture.
* Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* **OSHA 30 certification required.**
* Previous warehouse, construction, or industrial safety experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA requirements.
* Able to confidently communicate safety expectations to employees.
* Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently.
* stand, walk, and monitor warehouse operations for extended periods.
* Must be willing to work the full scheduled shift.
Available Shifts:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 4:30 AM
This is a hands-on safety position for someone who takes workplace safety seriously and is comfortable being active on the warehouse floor.
