Job Description
We are hiring reliable workers with their own vehicles for general labor assignments throughout the Richmond, VA area. We especially need dependable drivers who are willing to transport other workers to and from jobsites while also performing general labor duties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work and earn additional money for helping get other workers to the jobsite.
Job Duties typically include:
* Drive yourself and other workers to and from assigned jobsites.
* Perform general construction and jobsite labor.
* Clean and maintain work areas.
* Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
* Move and stage materials around the jobsite.
* Assist construction crews with general tasks as directed.
* Remove debris and construction materials.
* Help maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
* Follow directions from foremen, supervisors, and site management.
Requirements:
* Must have your own reliable vehicle.
* Valid driver’s license and required auto insurance.
* Safe and responsible driving record.
* Must be dependable and able to arrive at the office/jobsite on time.
* Comfortable transporting other workers when assigned.
* Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Previous construction or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
* Must have appropriate work boots and be willing to wear required PPE.
Pay:
* Starting pay: $16.00/hour + additional pay for transporting passengers
* Additional mileage pay for long distance travel
* Opportunities for additional work based on reliability, availability, and customer needs.
