Job Description
- Pull material per production document
- Dry material per documentation
- Accurate in/out of inventory transactions
- Making boxes
- Floor backup
- Housekeeping
- Set up workstation per documentation
- Back up on all floor duties
- Process methods and quality improvements / FABW
- Line clear and return to stock of all materials at end of run
- Cleaning out hoppers
- Complete daily forklift checklist
- Write internal work orders
- Routine lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Required to walk, stand or sit up to 12 hours per day (depending on shift), with 10-to-15 minute breaks every two hours
- Good vision is required for visual inspection of material and inventory documents
- Repetitive bending, stooping, or twisting
- Occasional reaching, kneeling
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills – ability to count
- Able to verbally communicate to many different levels within the organization
- Experience as Press operator preferred
