Commercial HVAC Technician-LEVEL 2
Location: Nashville, TN Area
Pay: $32–$48 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician – Level 2 for a long-term
opportunity supporting commercial facilities throughout the Nashville area.
This is an experienced-level position for a technician who can diagnose, troubleshoot, repair,
and maintain commercial HVAC systems with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will
have strong commercial refrigeration and chiller experience and be comfortable working across
a variety of commercial HVAC systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
● Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems
● Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs
● Service and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems
● Diagnose and service commercial chillers
● Work with hydronic systems and air-side HVAC equipment
● Identify equipment issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
● Respond to service needs efficiently and professionally
● Travel between assigned commercial properties throughout the Nashville area
● Maintain accurate service documentation, timekeeping, and job records
● Communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members
● Follow all safety, operational, and documentation procedures
● Recognize when complex issues require additional expertise and communicate
appropriately
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced technician who can make sound decisions in the
field and work confidently with minimal supervision.
Required qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
● Strong commercial refrigeration experience
● Hands-on experience with commercial chillers
● Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and troubleshooting
● Ability to independently diagnose and resolve routine and complex HVAC issues
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
● Professional communication and customer service skills
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to accurately complete required paperwork, timekeeping, and job documentation
● Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
● Ability to travel between assigned commercial properties
● Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug screening
