Order Picker / Material Handler
Location: Montgomery, AL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Type: Temporary Project (Through the End of September)
HireQuest Direct is currently hiring dependable and hardworking Order Pickers / Material Handlers for a temporary warehouse project in Oxford, Alabama. This assignment is expected to run through the end of September and is a great opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
Start time: 8:00 AM
End time: When the day’s work is complete (typically between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, depending on workload)
Responsibilities
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately
Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
Load and unload products as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all warehouse safety procedures
Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds continuously
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Experience operating a pallet jack and/or forklift is a plus
Qualifications
Clean background check required
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
