Delivery Vehicle Component Installer – $20–$22/hr

$20–$22 per hour

HireQuest Direct is hiring Installers for a temporary project in Lakeland, FL. This role supports a high-volume fleet installation program working on delivery vans. This is a 10-technician team environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Duties:
* Perform delivery enhancement system installations on delivery vans following SOPs and work instructions
* Disassemble vehicle parts as needed to access installation areas
* Install, configure, and secure components in fleet vehicles
* Test installed systems to ensure proper function and quality standards are met
* Perform self-checks and support quality inspections
* Identify and report defects, issues, or installation inconsistencies
* Handle, verify, and organize parts and installation materials
* Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas at all times
* Follow all safety procedures including PPE use and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) guidelines
* Record installation activity, notes, and required documentation as directed
* Work collaboratively with a 10-technician team to meet production targets
* Support continuous improvement by following updated processes and best practices
Requirements:
* Background check required
* Resume required
* 1–3 years of automotive, mechanical, installation, or related experience preferred
* Ability to perform vehicle disassembly, installation, and system testing
* Must have mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
* Must be able to follow detailed SOPs and instructions accurately
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
* All PPE required and must be worn at all times
* Valid driver’s license required
