Job Description
Carpenter
HireQuest is seeking experienced and dependable Carpenters to join our team. This is a hands-on position for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and can work independently or as part of a crew to complete residential and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry work.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately.
Complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers throughout the project.
Requirements
Previous carpentry experience required.
Must have your own tape measure and basic hand tools.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as needed.
Strong verbal communication, written communication, and active listening skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
