Equipment Associate

Pressure washing experience is preferred but not required.

Must be punctual, must pass background 7 years.

Positions are all over the city of Houston.

This is Commercial pressure washing of equipment.

Description:
As an Equipment Associate , you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation. Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers. Your strong work ethic, reliability and positive attitude will make you an asset to our branch and entire organization.

Provide labor assistance to outside operations staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting customer’s needs. Assisting with cleaning and power washing equipment. Painting steel plates and beams. Building modular equipment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries and preparing equipment for rental. Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order. Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment.

Excellent customer service focus. Eager to learn. Effective communication and strong teamwork skills and ability to multi-task. High school diploma and valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to kneel, bend and climb ladders. Willing to work outside in cold and hot weather. Steel toe boots required. Safety vest, safety glasses and hard hat is required but will be provided by the company.

Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to branch  Report machine condition to Counter Person/Service Manager for appropriate billing of customer Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order.  Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area  Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment  Greet customers and assist with customer inquirie

Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls, and other small parts.  Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation  Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs.  Exposure to bright light, extreme temperature, loud noise, dust, gas, or fumes  Occasional working at heights above 10 ft.  Ability to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection as required  Ability to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time  Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day  Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day
