Job Description
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Construction General Laborers to join our team for projects throughout the Volusia/Flagler Counties and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are looking to gain experience and grow within the construction industry.
The General Laborer will assist skilled tradesmen and site supervisors with various construction tasks while helping maintain a safe and productive job site.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general construction and site preparation activities
Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
Clean and maintain job sites
Perform demolition and debris removal as needed
Dig trenches, backfill, and perform basic site work
Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades
Operate hand tools and power tools safely
Follow all job site safety procedures and company policies
Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Volusia and Flagler Counties
Ability to arrive on time and maintain a consistent attendance record
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with construction tools and equipment
OSHA 10 Certification
Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites
