Job Description
- Manage tooling life, make adjustments, change offsets, and modify programs if needed
- Perform in-process inspections
- Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete job
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
- Set up machines
- Understand and make adjustments to hold geometric toleranes and geometric dimensions
- Basic reading of job papers and prints, in addition to quality control devices such as calipers and micrometers is required
- Attention to detail, cleanliness and quality are of high importance
- Vice installation and running initial set up parts
- Reading, writing, and math ability
- CNC Lathe experience
