Snelling Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for our client in Schererville, IN.

Weekly Pay!!!

$20 per hour or more depending on experience!

Shift is 7am to 5pm - Monday through Friday

Temp-to-hire position!

Duties

• Inspect all materials to ensure adherence to company quality standards.
• Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing audits, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems.
• Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification.
• Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; and training methods.
• Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Prior experience in process improvement and analyzing information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• 1-2 years related experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to bend and walk continuously throughout the shift.
• Tolerant to exposure to typical noises and smells associated with an industrial plant.
• Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift.
• Manual dexterity to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
