Forklift Operator (must have cherry picker, sit-down, walkie rider, reach truck, and electric pallet jack) $16-17

Snelling is now hiring order pickers for a warehouse located in West Charlotte. You must have experience in the following forklift cherry picker, sit-down, walkie rider, reach truck, and electric pallet jack.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the picking, packing, and staging of goods for outbound shipments within the warehouse. In this role, you will be certified to operate material handling equipment and RF mobile devices to facilitate the movement of goods out of our distribution center.

Principle Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment
• Performs outbound order picking function adhering to preferred methods
• Inspects products for damage prior to picking to ensure customer satisfaction
• Picks customer orders via RF Scanner onto a pallet for shipment
• Performs general housekeeping in the warehouse
• Performs other duties as assigned

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays (especially during peak season)

• 1st shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 11:00 AM-7:30 PM

Break/Lunch Schedule:

• Two 15-minute breaks will be assigned per shift
• Lunch is scheduled for 30 minutes-employees must clock out for lunch. The lunch schedule will be determined by the employees’ assigned Supervisor
• Employees are strongly advised to pack their lunch and snacks-there are not any food options off of our exit
