What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate Sawing Equipment: Assist with cutting materials to specific sizes and specifications using various saws.
- Reading Tape Measures: Use your attention to detail to accurately measure materials for cutting—tape measure reading is a key part of the job.
- Heavy Lifting: Be prepared to lift materials of 50 lbs or more, moving and organizing materials around the shop as needed.
- Basic Math Skills: Use your basic math knowledge to perform calculations and ensure accurate cuts.
- Shop Support: Assist in maintaining the shop’s organization and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Forklift Operation: If you have forklift experience, you’ll be helping with moving materials efficiently (preferred but not required).

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Tape Measure & Basic Math: You’re comfortable using a tape measure and can do basic measurements and calculations.
- Heavy Lifting: You’re able to lift 50 lbs or more safely and efficiently.
- Steel Experience (Preferred): Experience working with steel or similar materials is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift Experience (Preferred): If you’re comfortable operating a forklift, that’s a bonus!
- Positive Attitude & Team Player: You bring a can-do attitude to the job and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
- Safety-Conscious: You prioritize safety at all times, following shop guidelines and best practices.
