Lumber Production Assembler

Duties:

• Assemble building material components, such as wall panels, floor and roof trusses, door and window frames.
• Plan and implement the assembly process by reading and understanding set-up sheets and directions.
• Ensure that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
• Plan and pace work efficiently in order to meet daily, weekly and project goals.
• Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Manual dexterity.
• Carry out written and oral instructions.
