Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind and mold restoration projects.
Coordinate estimates and communicate with subcontractors.
Create accurate and profitable job estimates.
Prepare written proposals.
Obtain bids from subcontractors.
Completed estimates will be forwarded to the customer within one (1) business day of the property inspection.
Communicate with customers; make sure they are constantly informed of their project status.
Maintain project files.
Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters and contractors.
Follow up on estimates sent to homeowners.
Negotiate with insurance adjusters.
Maintain regular communication with all accounts receivable
Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certification in Xactimate or equivalent estimating software is highly desirable.
Proficient in restoration estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility).
Knowledge of construction and restoration processes, including water, fire, and mold damage restoration.
Familiarity with insurance claims and industry standards, including IICRC guidelines.
Ability to assess property damage accurately and develop detailed restoration scopes.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, adjusters, and team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in negotiating with insurance adjusters.
Certifications such as IICRC, OSHA 10/30, or related restoration industry credentials.
