Kitchen assistant

HireQuest is looking for an part-time, 20 hours/week, kitchen attendant.

• Slice, weigh vegetables, fruits and other ingredients
• Prepares foods to meet all meal deadlines
• Use of the following equipment: Food processor, ovens, fryers, food scales, Meat slicer, calculator, can opener, and hand blender
• Provide excellent customer service
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment according to policies and procedures
• Follows companies personal hygiene standards
• Take food temperatures according to predetermined schedule, document with computer handheld devices
• Keep accurate records

• Ideal candidate has a optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Able to work mid-morning to mid-afternoon M-F
• Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of jewelry and piercings
• Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
