Job Description
A Construction General Laborer helps with basic tasks on construction sites like moving materials, cleaning up, and assisting other workers. The job involves a lot of physical work, so you need to be strong, safe, and ready to get your hands dirty.
Key Duties:
-Site Cleanup & Prep: Keep the site clean and ready by picking up debris and organizing tools and materials.
-Move Materials: Carry and arrange construction materials like wood, bricks, and cement.
-Help Skilled Workers: Assist carpenters, electricians, and others by handing tools and materials.
-Use Tools & Machines: Operate basic equipment like power tools or forklifts (with training).
-Follow Safety Rules: Always wear safety gear and make sure the work area is safe.
-Assist with Building: Help build structures like scaffolding or set up temporary workspaces.
-Maintain Tools: Keep tools clean and report any damage or issues.
Requirements:
-Physical Strength: Able to lift heavy objects and stay active for long hours.
-Safety Awareness: Follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
-Teamwork: Work well with others and communicate clearly. Comes with a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
-Outdoor work, sometimes in harsh weather.
-The job involves standing, lifting, and working with your hands.
