General Labor / Heavy Lifter
Position Summary HireQuest Direct is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers and Heavy Lifters to support our clients across a variety of industries including warehousing, manufacturing, construction, and distribution. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are fit, reliable, and ready to work.
Responsibilities
Perform general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors
Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50–75 lbs regularly
Load and unload trucks, pallets, and materials by hand or with equipment
Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and basic assembly tasks
Follow all workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements
Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance on assigned job sites
Requirements
No experience necessary
Ability to lift up to 50–75+ lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for the duration of a shift (8 hours or more)
Steel-toed boots required
Reliable transportation and consistent availability
Preferred Qualifications
Prior construction, or lifting experience
Forklift or pallet jack experience (a plus)
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Physical Demands This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and outdoor or industrial environments.
