Job Description
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used in the brick manufacturing process. This position helps ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
Repair conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
Replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous industrial maintenance, mechanic, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work around machinery, dust, heat, and noise.
Work Environment
Brick manufacturing facility.
Exposure to moving machinery, dust, heat, and varying weather conditions.
May require overtime, weekends, and on-call work as needed.
