Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and portion food items according to recipes and dietary requirements.
Assemble patient meal trays accurately and efficiently.
Deliver meals and snacks to patient rooms.
Collect meal trays and transport them back to the kitchen.
Serve food in the cafeteria or dining areas as needed.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dining areas, and equipment.
Stock food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Monitor food temperatures and report concerns to supervisors.
Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Follow all hospital policies and safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, dietary aide, or customer service experience preferred.
Healthcare food service experience is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Basic food handling knowledge
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.
