Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in dismantling, demolishing, and clearing structures, while following strict safety protocols to protect themselves and others. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in challenging environments, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform manual demolition tasks including tearing down walls, removing debris, dismantling fixtures, and breaking concrete or other materials
•Operate hand tools (hammers, pry bars, saws) and power tools (jackhammers, drills, grinders) safely and effectively
•Assist in setting up and taking down scaffolding, barricades, and safety equipment at demolition sites
•Load and unload materials, debris, and equipment using manual labor or machinery under supervision
•Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
•Work closely with supervisors and other crew members to complete projects on schedule
•Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure site safety
•Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues immediately
•Comply with local regulations and company policies related to demolition work
