Job Description
Position Summary
The Construction General Laborer assists with a variety of tasks on construction sites to help projects run safely and efficiently. This position supports skilled trades workers, handles materials, and helps maintain a clean and organized job site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move construction materials.
Assist with site preparation and cleanup.
Use hand tools and power tools safely.
Dig trenches, move dirt, and perform basic demolition work.
Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed.
Clean and organize work areas.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Report safety concerns to supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Reliable and dependable work ethic.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Work Environment
Outdoor construction sites.
Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment.
May require overtime and weekend work.
