Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and courteous Carving Station Attendant to provide high-quality food service during buffet-style events, banquets, and catered functions. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly carving and serving meats at a live action station, while interacting with guests in a friendly and efficient manner. This position requires attention to detail, knife skills, food safety knowledge, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Set up, maintain, and operate the carving station during events
•Carve and serve meats such as roast beef, turkey, ham, pork, or lamb to guests with precision and presentation in mind
•Engage warmly with guests, answer questions about food items, and accommodate special requests when possible
•Ensure proper portion control and consistent presentation throughout the event
•Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the carving station and surrounding area
•Monitor food temperatures and replenish food items as needed
•Follow all food safety and handling guidelines, including proper knife use and PPE
•Assist with event setup and breakdown, as directed by event or kitchen supervisors
•Coordinate with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
