EXPERIENCED COOK – PRIVATE SCHOOL | $25–$27/HR | IMMEDIATE OPENING
Pay: $25.00–$27.00/hour DOE
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Part-Time / Temporary Contract Assignment
We are seeking an experienced Cook for a private school dining environment. This is a short-term contract assignment with the potential to extend based on client needs.
Assignment Dates:
Friday, 8/28
Monday, 8/31
Tuesday, 9/1
Potential for additional dates/ongoing work as needed
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook hot and cold menu items according to recipes and established standards
Set up, maintain, and break down cooking and serving stations
Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures
Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
Monitor food quality, temperatures, and presentation
Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
Requirements:
Previous professional cooking experience required
Resume required
Valid Food Handler Card required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
Dependable, punctual, and available for all scheduled assignment dates
Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
The underlying Cook position includes recipe execution, station setup, proper food handling and sanitation, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
